The Lancang-Mekong Regional Cybersecurity Competition is part of the Lancang-Mekong Cybersecurity Week and Cyber Competition initiative, organized by the Ministry of Post and Telecommunications of Cambodia (MPTC) with support from the Lancang-Mekong Cooperation Special Fund. In July 2026, MPTC hosted the Lancang-Mekong Regional Cybersecurity Forum, which brought together government officials and CERT professionals from LMC member countries for a three-day of dialogue on emerging technologies and regional cybersecurity challenges.

Building on the forum, we are delighted to be organizing the upcoming Lancang-Mekong Regional Cybersecurity Competition that gathers university students from across the region for training and a Capture the Flag (CTF) competition. It aims to build practical cybersecurity skills, encourage knowledge exchange and strengthen the Lancang-Mekong Cooperation among young people. The event is scheduled to take place on 10-12 November 2026 in Siem Reap, Cambodia (the exact venue will be shared later directly with the participants by email).
